This time iPhone 12 series will have 4 variants with different sizes.

Apple started leaking its 2020's upcoming iPhone 12, 12 Pro, and 12 Pro Max pictures. This time Apple is going to launch 4 iPhones. The Fast company has revealed the Apple iPhone 12 designs and confirmed that Apple is planning to launch the iPhone 12 models in different sizes. The base variant of the iPhone will have a 5G compatibility with fewer features as compared to the iPhone 12 Pro Max. The iPhone 12 and the Apple Watch release date will be announced on 8th September and mostly the launch date of iPhones will be in the month of October.

Fast Company also unveiled that Apple will only offer premium 5G with iPhone 12 Pro Max models sold in Korea, Japan, and the US. In other countries, the iPhone 12 Pro Max will be sold with the cheaper, slower Sub-6Hz 5G while the iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Plus and iPhone 12 Pro will only ship with this standard.

Will the iPhone 12 have a 5G support?

iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro will have a 6GHz 5G, which is about 50% faster than 4G in real-world tests. 5G has already started in Japan, Korea, and the US. All the other companies will soon start installing the 5G spectrum in a few months. For a base variant of iPhone 12 you can expect internet speed of up to 1Gb/1,000Mbit per second), in iPhone 12 Pro you can expect Pro-level 5G, and this option is also available in Galaxy S20 models.

iPhone 12 series will come in 4 different sizes:

Apple confirmed that they will be launching iPhones with 4 different sizes. The display size of base varient of iPhone will be 5.4 inch, iPhone 12 Pro display size will be 6.1 inch, and the iPhone 12 Pro Max has a 6.7 inch OLed display.

iPhone 12 battery capacity:

Apple has already started downgrading the batteries in all iPhones, and even we can expect low battery capacity. 5G requires more power and will rapidly increase the battery drain. iPhone 12 models will come with 120Hz displays, which will consume more power.

iPhone 12 camera:

Finally, we are expecting a camera upgrade on iPhone 12. The base model of iPhone's will feature a dual rear camera and triple rear camera setup for the higher-end iPhone 12 Pro Max. The front camera remains the same for all the iPhone 12 models.

Jon Prosser has leaked several Apple devices, and features in the past have tweeted screenshots of some test settings pages for PVTs (product validation devices). As you can see in the screenshot, it shows several advanced cameras features, including Li-DAR-assisted auto focus, advanced video modes like 4K at 120fps and 240fps slo-mo, enhanced long-exposure night mode, enhanced noise reduction, bit depth video, and zoom capabilities.

The other screenshot shows a high refresh rate 120Hz and you can switch back to 60Hz.

Upgrades in iPhone 12 series:

We are expecting the iPhone 12 series will be powered by the A14 Bionic chipset, which is an upgrade of A13 Bionic. The base variant of the iPhone 12 comes with a 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage and the iPhone 12 Pro's would be packed with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

The Price of the iPhone has not revealed yet but we will surely update here when their will an official announcement from Apple.
